How Can I Carry My Medication in My Baggage?

If you require frequent medication, ensure you carry enough vital medication for your personal use on board - and for the first few days of your vacation - in your smaller under-seat hand luggage item. This is in case your hold baggage gets delayed for any reason.

Put your prescription medication in your larger cabin bag since you may be asked to place it on hold on busy flights. Additional medication for personal use at your destination can also be packed in your checked baggage, as long as you save enough for a few days in your hand luggage in an emergency. So, bringing a copy of the prescription for your medication is recommended to avoid security delays.
